So... I finally got to review a Honda S2000

And then it happens to COMPLETELY ruin me if I ever get the chance to drive a stock one down the line if only for the fact that it is the CR, the best S2K Honda had on offer Stateside.

It is always awesome to drive an icon like the S2000 though, the twist came in the form of a LHT performance supercharger kit. It flat out MOVED!

I don’t even think I have to ask what others think of the S2K. Any answer other than a positive one is probably grounds for an undetermined amount of years in the gulag. I would love to know if there are people out there that can truly hate it.

Do they know how much whp it’s making? With a supercharger the car is quite lively, I’m told.

I won’t ask if the S2K is great. I will ask how it compares to a similarly outfitted Miata, or as close to similar as one could come.

The only one I have ever driven was a bone stock NA MX5 in the Netherlands which was a very soft ride . Not a fair comparison at all to this monster. Strangely MIATA is the answer for everything, but I have never been able to film a review on one! I’d love to review a mazdaspeed one. I see a silver one all the time in my neighborhood. Sharp looking car!

Believe it or not, most reviews I get are people sliding into the DM. When I talk to fellow car enthusiasts I bring it up as a suggestion, but that’s it.

No problem, I’d like people to watch the video sure, but I figured they would click that play button if they really want to. I dislike YouTubers saying “It’s in the video” and not give the answer. Someone is obviously not willing to watch your stuff, so it is up to you as a fellow car enthusiast to help them out if you have the information at your finger tips. Heck, you might end up with another subscriber or car review! That’s how I think anyway.

My opinion is that the AP1 reminds me of a heavily caffeinated Miata, whereas the AP2 feels less playful and more serious because of the heavier wheels and flywheel.

He has a lot of money in it, it’s got twin turbos and pretty much anything that could be done to it. It’s nuts. He beats some expensive cars at trac k days.
